After I updated to framework 2.5.2, when I try to change the logo image from the Header section of the Template Options, Astroid hangs up (see attached image) until I close the window. I have tried clearing both Joomla cache and astroid cache, but that does not help. Any idea what the issue might be.

There is no error.
The loading spinner just keeps spinning until I close the window.
It seems to function fine but I never get the option to choose a file or folder.

Did this happen from the beginning or was it after the update?

It was after the update.
For the version of Astroid I initially installed (I not sure which one it was, but I installed it about a year ago and just recently updated it to 2.5.2), I was able to change the logo.

Just for your information, I am building a new different Joomla website with Astroid 2.5.2 and have the same problem of not being able to change the logo. When I discovered that problem, I was wondering if it was limited to this new website so I checked my other website (ginsaneikawa.com) and discovered that I had the same problem.

Hello,

Not sure if you have submitted the login information but I haven't seen it come in yet.

In any event, a 500 error is really just a fatal PHP error and enabling error reporting in your Joomla config with show you what exactly what error is. It could be a PHP limit or some missing php extension or something. Some helpful documentation:
docs.joomdev.com/article/i-am-getting-a-500-error-what-do-i-do/

Thanks,
Chetan
