I am currently unable to save the changes I make when editing in the Asteroid framework.

I have tried clearing the cache both in Joomla and my browser, and updated everything to the latest versions and tried PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.

When I click the save button it takes a couple seconds for it to switch from "Save" to "Saving"

Then I get the loading circle.

Seems to be a common theme:https://www.joomdev.com/forum/astroid-framework/4212-astroid-frozen-does-not-save-changes

There is probably an error in the console.

These links should help:

and this:

Thanks,

This does not help? What is the console? I renamed and tried editing the .htaccess?=

Hi,

If it's not saving, the console would have some javascript errors that'll lead to some information about why you are having the particular error and why it's not saving. It's possible a PHP error or JavaScript conflict.

If that's the case then it would be an issue with Asteroid. Nothing else on the site changed.

Even trying to export my theme options I am unable to export. nothing happens, no javascript is loaded.

I am curious where the setting files are stored. Can I edit the database or JSON that way as a temporary work around?

You should try reinstalling the framework and template and that should fix whatever is broken.

Can I get an update on this?

I asked a couple months ago and all the new updates are not working

its not loading: www.domain.com/media/astroid/assets/vend...r/angular.min.js.map

and

www.domain.com/media/astroid/assets/js/parsley.min.js.map

I am also getting: {"status":"error","code":0,"message":"The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again."}

I am unable to export the setting i had as well so I am not uninstalling at this time.
