I have a website based on Astroid Template One, but I guess the issue I will describe would be common to all Astroid templates.

The offcanvas position, when not used, is displaying a message "No module published on ..."
This should be an HTML comment, and not an actual string.
This string is appearing on google searches, making my website look bad.
Please check the redacted image of a google result.

The string can be found on libraries/astroid/framework/frontend/offcanvas.php on line 42.
This file can be overriden by copying it to templates/your_template/html/frontent/offcanvas.php

In any case, please make sure this string is not included anymore.
I am not using the offcanvas menu, so this string should not appear.

Thank you.

Hello,

Thanks for reporting this. We will investigate it as well.

But this string render only if you have enabled the off-canvas menu and didn't published any module on the off-canvas position.

So if it is displaying on the Google search, then it may be because if you have enabled it anytime and Google crawled your website.

And as it is just picking the site content so to make it better, add meta description for your website.

Thank you again.
Naveen

Hi Naveen.

Thank you for your answer.

I thought the same thing, and double checked my Astroid configurations.
I don't believe I have ever enabled the off-canvas menu, as I don't really use it on my projects, but the weird thing is that I could not find its configuration/setting anywhere on Astroid control panel.

Kind regards,
Jonathan.
