Hi!

Thanks for great template!

I want to create an article with "Services" in it but with different background. Was trying to find "Page Display" tab in "Services" properties but couldn't find it
I know you have to use css and clone .spotlight-2 but where do i tell the template where to use it, can you please explain?

Thank You!

Hi!

Thanks for reply but i know this is the right part of code. What i've done so far:

- Created new module - "About-us - links"[custom]
- Assigned Postition-5 to the module and assigned to "About-us" menu.
- i didn't copy any code from "Services" module

When i browse to about i can see the same background is used. So my question is how do i tell "About-us - links" to use say .spotlight-3 for its settings?

Okay, this is how it work.

Whenever you create a new module and assign it to the Postition-5. It automatically finds its way to .spotlight-3 section. Therefore, if you want to change the background colour of that particular module please make edits in the following path as mentioned above.

Let us know?

Thanks

Hi

I've added .spotlight-3 to template.less file but the picture is still same as on the "Services" module.
Is there anything else i have to change?

/*
START START spotlight 2
*/

.spotlight-2{
color:#fff;
padding:70px 0 80px;
background-image:url(../images/services-banner.png);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-attachment:fixed;
background-position:center top;
background-size:cover;
.module-title{ color:#fff; }
.t3-module{ margin:0; }
}

/*
spotlight 2 END END
*/

/*
START START spotlight 3
*/

.spotlight-3{
color:#fff;
padding:70px 0 80px;
background-image:url(../images/banner-slider.jpg);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-attachment:fixed;
background-position:center top;
background-size:cover;
.module-title{ color:#fff; }
.t3-module{ margin:0; }
}

/*
spotlight 3 END END
*/

Can you help me with this, please.

I've added .spotlight-3 to the template.less file but changed image to banner-slider.jpg
/*----- START START spotlight 2 -----*/

.spotlight-2{
	color:#fff;
	padding:70px 0 80px;
	background-image:url(../images/services-banner.png);
	background-repeat:no-repeat;
	background-attachment:fixed;
	background-position:center top;
	background-size:cover;
	.module-title{ color:#fff; }
	.t3-module{ margin:0; }
}

/*----- spotlight 2 END END -----*/

/*----- START START spotlight 2 -----*/

.spotlight-3{
	color:#fff;
	padding:70px 0 80px;
	background-image:url(../images/banner-slider.jpg);
	background-repeat:no-repeat;
	background-attachment:fixed;
	background-position:center top;
	background-size:cover;
	.module-title{ color:#fff; }
	.t3-module{ margin:0; }
}

/*----- spotlight 2 END END -----*/

but when i got to About i can still see the old picture is used

Thanks for your help

Hi,

Please do the same .spotlight-2 instead of .spotlight-3 and replace the existed path with the one you want to have .

Thanks

I don't know maybe im doing something wrong but i have created another .spotlight-2 and changed the path to another picture:
/*----- START START spotlight 2 -----*/

.spotlight-2{
	color:#fff;
	padding:70px 0 80px;
	background-image:url(../images/services-banner.png);
	background-repeat:no-repeat;
	background-attachment:fixed;
	background-position:center top;
	background-size:cover;
	.module-title{ color:#fff; }
	.t3-module{ margin:0; }
}

/*----- spotlight 2 END END -----*/

/*----- START START spotlight 2 -----*/

.spotlight-2{
	color:#fff;
	padding:70px 0 80px;
	background-image:url(../images/banner-slider.jpg);
	background-repeat:no-repeat;
	background-attachment:fixed;
	background-position:center top;
	background-size:cover;
	.module-title{ color:#fff; }
	.t3-module{ margin:0; }
}

/*----- spotlight 2 END END -----*/
and i can see banner-slider.jpg on both modules. Maybe u misunderstood me. What i want to achieve is have the same layout on "About" page as on "Home" page

About Us - Header
About Us (Article)
About Us (mod custom) but with different background

btw i can see there's:
#services{
	background:url(../images/services-banner.png) no-repeat center top;
	color:#fff;
	padding:82px 0 70px;
	.custom{
		width:86%;
		margin:0 6%;
	}
}
with the same picture as spotlight-2. What is it for?

Thanks

Okay, let's give it an another try.
Like you said, you created another spotlight2 ...this was not the right way to fix it. You got to do the change in the same or existing spotlight2.There is no need to create or copy another one.

So, kindly replace the image you need in the existing one and don't copy the whole line of codes again.

And, lets us know.

Thanks

I think we still talk about two different things...

Module called "Services" (ID 104) assigned to home menu has its background defined in .spotlight-2

If i create another module "Custom" it will use the same background as "Services" module.

If i change background defined in .spotlight-2 it will change background on both

what i want to do is keep the background (services-banner.png) on "Services" module but assign different background to module "Custom" i just created and assigned it to "About" menu
