extensions -> modules -> "Services" -> change <i> class to another one.

fontawesome.io/icons/

For instance, <i class="fa fa-newspaper-o">

Is not to change the class but the icon. Where are the icons stored?

Any icon that you can see on the site is font-awesome's character. It's a special font and it's awesome btw! ;-)

With adding a class to a tag you declare a character (icon) to be added :before the selector (using class).

So, it's stored in the font declaration.
