Hi,

The error usually means you have an error in your less file. You should clear cache after your changes and that should take care of it.
Also, under your template you have a button less too css... Try that as well.

I'm aware of the reason of the error, what I don't understand is what's the reason of the error, cause it doesn't make sense, and I've been using each and every time the </> LESS to CSS button (actually I did mention it in the post).
What I'm trying to do (to be more specific) is change the color of the main menu font:
  .navbar-nav {
    > li > a {
      color:#ef0f17;
      font-size:16px;
      line-height:10px;
I just changed the attribute color in the line 161 of the navbar.less file, the value was #fff and now is #ef0f17, I clear the cache before to click in the </> LESS to CSS button (as I used to do), but after that there's nothing to clear up in the cache, and I keep getting the same error message:
        Compile LESS to CSS failed

        templates/jdboston-apex/less/template.less
        ParseError: Unexpected input in anonymous-file-13118.less on line 2589, column 1 2587
| // Base Navbars 2588
| // -------------------------------------------------- 2589
| .navbar { 2590
| @media (min-width: @grid-float-breakpoint) { 2591
| } 2592
| }
The strange thing is that if I restore the original value, this is #fff, I keep getting the same error (no matter if I clear the cache). Restoring the whole LESS file solve the problem.

So, something else is causing the issue and it got nothing to do with the cache.

Those two empty files solved the compilation issue, but seems to happens again when I modify another LESS file. After change the color attribute on the line 166 of the megamenu.less file. The error message is pretty similar to the later one.
Compile LESS to CSS failed

Please go to line no 166 of the megamenu.less file and see there is something wrong the code and share the screenshot of megamenu.less file so I can find what wrong with megamenu.less file. If possible, please take a AkeebaBackup and share at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
