How to set a basic offline page with JD Builder, but prevent the Astroid framework from rendering the header menu's and other elements such as footer, etc.

This would be useful and permit the client to review their site development without a login to Joomla. The customer could use a direct link [ sitedomain.com/index.php ] to review site while the public would only see the offline or coming soon page.

Please advise if possible and best method, thank you!

Here is how I'd do it.

Create a copy of the astroid template and put it into coming soon mode (astroid) and make that the default menu item (in a new hidden menu).

Then your actual homepage would be accessible at someone like site.com/home (or menu alias) and then client can browse from there.

Kind of a hack but should work.

Or you can just put the site in development/offline module and it will display the login for user to login and see the site.
