Hello again,

for some reason the ending "tmpl=component" doesn't work anymore after I updated SP Page Builder to 3.4.3.
I had to relink the pages (in the menu in the footer) and now it does show the header and footer again. Any idea how I can fix that?

the link to the website is t1p.de/lutv

I was also wondering if I can change url of a page created in SPPB. I would like to have the actual name of the page and not the id.
Now it is
.../index.php/?view=page&id=54/
I would like to have it
.../index.php/"name of the sppb page"/

Thanks for your help!
Sam

Sam,

If you enable SEF url's and link pages to a menu, you can get the url of your choice.

Hi Chetan,
thanks for your quick reply.
I have "Search Engine Friendly URLs" under SEO Settings in Global Configuration enabled.
How do I choose the URL?
Thanks, Sam

Hi Sam,

Create a new menu item which links to the above page, the alias of the menu item will be your page url when you access it on the frontend.

Hi Chetan,
this only works if the menu item type is a SPPB page and not a link.
If I link the page it does work fine.

Is it somehow possible to hide the menu on the page? I can't add
tmpl=component
when the menu item type is a SPPB page.
tmpl=component
isnt't a ideal solution to hide the menu anyway because then the fonts are not displayed.

So can I somehow disable the menu on certain pages?

Thanks for your help!

Sam,

It is possible to do both. You can add custom CSS for hide/show menu for certain pages but that might just be beyond your area of expertise.

Get yourself familier with how the menu systems work in Joomla and you can easily achieve the above. Give me the link to your page again please and I'll try to make another recommendation.

Chetan

Hi Chetan,
thanks for your answer.
The link to the website is t1p.de/lutv

I would like to hide the Main Menu on the pages index.php/datenschutz and index.php/impressum

Is it a lot of code to hide the menu? I already use custom.css file. Just for the header and footer though.

Thanks again for your help!
