Hi:

Re: www.warmcosyfires.co.uk

New install.
All good until I updated Acymail and one other extension (I think it was a registration module)
Didn't get a chance to update Joomla or Astroid.

An error has occurred.
0 Call to undefined function acym_rootURI()

Regards,
Colin

Hi,

I installed a backup. I updated Joomla and Asteriod.
The issue is with updating Acymailer.

Can you take a look please.

Regards,
Colin.

Hi Colin,

Like you said it's an issue after updating ACYMailing, therefore it has nothing to do with our template so we would suggest if you can contact their support for the fix.

Thanks,
Nishtha

Hi Nishtha,

Would it not be best if Joomdev resolved the issue with ACYMailing? That way you would not be selling the template with compatibility issues.

Colin.

Hi Colin,

Yes you are right we should resolve the issue for our templates but right now it's their own issue we cannot do much if they don't plan to resolve it.

Thanks,
Nishtha

Hi Nishtha,

If you have been in touch with ACYMailing and they have no plans to resolve the compatibility issue, then shouldn't ACYMailing be removed from the template? This way you would resolve the issue of Joomdev supplying templates with inherent defaults.

Regards,
Colin.

Hi,

Well I think so in that case if they don't plan to resolve this at the earliest then might have to remove it from the templates.
Not sure for now, I would suggest not to update ACYMailing until they resolve this.

Thanks,
Nishtha
