Hi, I'm having a weird problem with your template. The opening of the first page is tremendously slow (over 6 seconds) I thought it was a server problem, but using a test joomla installation, the speed is great, a few milliseconds

Hi,

Can you please share the site link if possible? And is it solved or not because you said the speed is great now so I am confused!

Thanks,
Nishtha

Hi,

I did checked and it's possibly your server resources that are slowing things down. If you try opening without the template www.bytecheck.com/results?resource=https...template%3Dprotostar it still takes like good 4 seconds, which it shouldn't.

I'd recommend check in with your host and asking them to allocate more resources towards your website. You could also possibly enable caching in Joomla (extensions.joomla.org/extension/jotcache/) and use something like JotCache to cache the pages and have a faster response time.

Thanks,
Chetan

I'm sorry, but what you say is not true. I carried out a week of testing, together with the ARUBA technicians, using pingdom, the result, as shown in the attached screen, says that without your template, the site responds in 3 times less time. I also did a different test, I looked at the templates on your demo site, comparing JDMedical with any other template. The result is the same. SLOWNESS! To underline, on my domain, I have loading times around 3 seconds, just because I have activated the page cache (which is something I never do). Could you kindly do a closer check and provide a solution? Thanks.

Hi,

Like it or not, it has something to do with your web hosting.

You can check out the demo server's First Byte Time
demo.joomdev.com/medical/toolbar/
www.bytecheck.com/results?resource=https...medical%2Ftoolbar%2F

Thanks,

Hi, I did all the necessary tests, I also configured the cache and used jotcache. The result does not change. I did some tests with the default template, and as you can see from the image, without your template, the site is pretty fast. I spent some money with my provider's support, blaming them for the slowness of my site, but I have several sites with them, the only slow one is the one with jdmedical. Please find a solution. Look at the pingdom reports, they speak for themselves. Thanks
