I created 2 portfolio menus for my multilangual website; for English menu and Indonesian Menu. I also have set the contents with each languages. On portfolio menu, there is only option default to choose, so I cant select which category of language for the menu. It will just show all of them. (problem no 1)
Also, the portfolio menus can only show in English side only. If I switch to bahasa Indonesia, it will show an error unless I set back the language contents to 'All'. (problem no 2)

So, what's the best way to solve this?

I would first suggest you make sure you have followed these steps to create your multi language site: docs.joomla.org/Special:MyLanguage/J3.x:..._Site/Creating_menus

Because it looks like something you have missed because of which you are not able to choose the default menu.
