I try to create a simple contact form, I regret not understanding the error code.

Can you provide a screenshot of the error by turning on the Debug System and Error reporting from your Joomla Dashboard?

Below are the steps:

1. Go to your Joomla Dashboard
2. Click System > Global Configuration
3. Go to System Tab and Enable Debug System under Debug Settings.
4. And then go to Server Tab and Set Error Reporting to Development under Server Settings.
5. You'll see the error.

Just one more question, are you using the JD Simple Contact Form or form element in the JD Builder?

Or any other form element?

Currently, JD Simple Contact Form is not compatible with the Joomla 4 and we're soon going to release the update for Joomla 4.
